Recently, the Gansu Jiuquan Jinta Panke Phase I 190MW/760MWh independent energy storage project, with Hanxing Energy providing the full set of energy storage products and China Railway Shanghai Institute serving as the overall designer, officially commenced. As the energy storage system integrator for this project, Hanxing Energy is contributing to the construction of a new power system in the northwest region with efficient and reliable energy storage solutions.

Project Overview

The project is located in the Hongliuwa Photovoltaic Industrial Park in Jinta County, Jiuquan City, covering an area of approximately 45,000 square meters. With a rated charging and discharging power of 190 megawatts, it encompasses engineering content such as a hybrid energy storage power station, a 330 kilovolt booster station, a 330 kilovolt line, and related interval expansion projects.

Adopting a hybrid energy storage technology consisting of "95% lithium iron phosphate + 5% sodium-ion battery", it combines high energy density, low cost, and excellent low-temperature safety, fully adapting to the harsh and cold environment of the northwest. The energy storage system provided by Hanxing Energy fully supports this technology approach, providing reliable support for the construction of new power systems.

At the same time, the project adopts an "independent energy storage" model that is not dependent on specific power plants. This model can provide diversified auxiliary services such as flexible peak shaving, precise frequency regulation, and emergency backup for regional power grids, forming a new energy storage application scenario similar to a "shared charging treasure", significantly enhancing the operational flexibility and resource allocation efficiency of the power grid.

As an energy storage system integrator, Hanxing Energy has been deeply involved in the entire process of product selection, system integration, and technology implementation for this project, ensuring the long-term stable operation of the energy storage system under severe cold conditions and complex grid conditions.

Project Vision

Upon completion, the project will serve as a "green engine" for the collaborative development of the new energy industry in Gansu Province and a "stabilizer" for the safe operation of the regional power grid. It will provide strong support for the construction of the new energy system during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, accelerate the consumption of clean energy and the agglomeration of the industrial chain, and improve the layout of regional energy infrastructure.
